The passion of Life Support is to hear the Roar of Heaven resound in this generation.  Their desire is to create an atmosphere to both encourage followers and allow seekers to experience the saving love and power of Jesus Christ.

Life Support is a modern rock/worship collective whose passion is to lead people into God’s presence. The bands journey began at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish Nova Scotia when a few friends decided they wanted to change the atmosphere on campus. With a handful of instruments and an abandoned chapel, they began to gather for worship. Within two years the small group of ten exploded into hundreds of students. Many lives were radically changed; God’s Kingdom had begun to invade!

The band has been together for eleven years and has since moved beyond the walls of St. Francis Xavier University to become missionaries to Canada.  Their partnership with Compassion Canada led them on an exposure tour to Quito, Ecuador.  This trip was instrumental in increasing their passion for world missions.  Seeing the face of poverty first hand, the band advocates for the poor and less fortunate of the world.  They use the stage and their music to increase awareness of how we can impact and give hope to people in need.

Life Support has toured their country and the U.S. full time for almost seven years, partnering with organizations for major conferences and festivals such as Soulfest, Ichthus Festival, YC Alberta, Jesus To The Nations, Toronto’s Mission Fest, Alive On The Island, Global Day of Prayer, and BCOQ's Blizzard, and have shared the stage with bands such as Leeland, Starfield, and Jeremy Camp.  They are also actively involved in ministering to churches, youth groups, camps, and retreats.

Life Support’s second full-length album, “Roar Of Heaven”, picked up a JUNO AWARD nomination for “Contemporary Gospel Recording of The Year” along with five other music award nominations: An East Coast Music Award nomination for “Gospel Recording of The Year”, A Music Nova Scotia Award nomination for “Inspirational Album of The Year”, and three Canadian Gospel Music Award nominations for "Modern Worship Song of the Year"  ("Made For This"), "Rock Song of the Year" ("Your Love in The World"), and "Modern Worship Album of the Year" ("Roar of Heaven").  The album also produced a number 1 hit on Canadian Christian radio with the song “Roar Of Heaven”.  Life Support is presently writing material for a new album.
